Flock Safety Cameras
It's Not Our Surveillance State
Flock Safety is a company which is placing its cameras all over America. There is a slim possibility that flock cameras are just a more sophisticated iteration of corruption and overpolicing lawful whites. But it’s more likely that they are the groundwork for an anti-white surveillance state.
Even if I am mistaken and flock and their cameras are entirely good faith, they are doomed to failure because they are another example of conservatives looking for technical solutions to political problems, rather than exercising power and making decisions.
Although we haven’t noticed them until now, flock cameras have been around for several years. Here is a timeline from Grok:
2017: Flock Safety founded in Atlanta by Garrett Langley (after a property crime).
2018–2019: Early prototypes and first deployments, mostly in neighborhoods/HOAs. First police customer in 2019 (Jersey Village, TX).
2020: Began wider rollout; about 700 cities by late 2020, with national lookup features.
2021–2022: Acceleration during/after COVID—1,200+ cities by mid-2021, 1,500+ by early 2022.
2023–2024: Major scale-up—reached about 4,000 cities and 40,000 cameras by 2024.
2025–2026: Peak ubiquity—80,000–120,000+ cameras across 49 states, 5,000–6,000+ agencies/communities, scanning 20+ billion vehicles per month. Many sources now describe the network as widespread or “ubiquitous” in much of the U.S.
Have flock cameras been used to prosecute the race riots mislabeled as teen takeovers? Actually yes, but that hasn’t done anything to prevent them, and these mini race riots are actually increasing in number and intensity. It doesn’t matter how many suspects you identify if you don’t have the will to punish them.
Contrary to impressions on social media, most flock cameras are in high crime areas rather than low crime areas. Are they effective at solving crime and worth the investment? A study conducted in 2024 by Texas Christian University in collaboration with Flock Safety (which undermines its neutrality) found that adding one camera per police officer is associated with a 9.1% increase in solving crimes.
But solving crime is not the same as preventing crime, which requires deterrence, which requires punishing crime once solved. Otherwise, courts will only kill more trees printing out ever-lengthening rap sheets while giving Defendant Daquan a slap on the wrist.
San Marino is a rich city in northern Los Angeles County, just south of Pasadena, which illustrates this perfectly. A 2024 study by Forbes found that while burglaries in San Marino dropped by 80% from 2020 to 2021 after flock cameras were installed, they nonetheless rose by 5% from 2019 to 2023. The study found a similar trend in Fort Worth, Texas. Criminals might be dumb, but they’re still smart enough to respond to incentives. Or the lack thereof.
Have they been used to catch migrant invaders? Yes, which is the main problem liberals have with flock cameras, while conservatives are focused on privacy and return on investment. But despite ICE making several thousand requests to local law enforcement for camera data in most states, there is no hard data on how many deportations flock cameras have actually helped accomplish. And broadly speaking, deportation numbers are abysmal after Trump backed down after Minneapolis’s anti-ICE insurgency.
It doesn’t matter how many migrants flock cameras identify if ICE is not allowed to kick their doors in because of muh optics. Besides, we don’t need cameras to know that a large number can be found in agriculture, hotels, and the illegal and unsanitary food stands on the streets of LA.
Furthermore, my sources inside Washington, DC tell me that the biggest hurdle to forced deportations is a lack of immigration judges, which has caused a backlog of 3.3 to 3.5 million deportation cases. While Trump has loosened the requirements for short-term immigration judges from seven years legal experience to simply being an attorney, there’s still a critical shortage. Flock cameras might increase the backlog of court dockets, but not deportations.
That the 900,000 involuntary deportations under Trump are eclipsed by 2.2 million self-deportations shows that full spectrum pressure would be more effective than cameras. An August, 2025 poll I conducted for the Homeland Institute found very high support for making E-Verify mandatory for employers, and moderately high support for a federal version of California’s Prop 187 which sought to deny non-emergency social services to migrant invaders. Making it difficult for invaders to work or leech off welfare would cause most of them to self-deport, thereby bypassing the farce of due process. And unlike paying for flock cameras, these policies would financially benefit Americans.
Have flock cameras been used against antifa and adjacent groups and movements? Actually yes. The Left-leaning Electronic Frontier Foundation published a report about law enforcement using them to surveil No Kings and related protests which have significant overlap with antifa and their sympathizers.
So why am I not shouting “based check” about flock cameras like Cam Higby and Paulos? Have I fallen into the Republicuck trap of refusing to use state power against the Left in case it sets a precedent to do the same against me, as if that has ever mattered? Am I a crypto-luddite instead of a futurist?
This is where identity, the friend-enemy distinction, and common sense come into play. MAGA is MIGA. Even if a totalitarian surveillance state is inevitable, it’s simply not our regime yet, and thus not our surveillance state. It’s a Jewish surveillance state.
The GOP, which includes MAGA now, is mostly all talk and no action on white or even conservative issues, be they migration, college admissions, or discrimination in hiring. The SAVE Act is currently stuck in the Senate when it should have been forced through one way or another due to self-preservation alone, while merging the US and Israeli militaries through an “enhanced partnership” is advancing just fine. Deportations are on the back burner despite their popularity, while the unpopular Iran War is Trump’s all-consuming top priority. Derek Chauvin is still held as a political prisoner, while Leo Terrel uses his official DOJ account to intimidate and cancel Austin Franco for saying he didn’t want to work for a Jew in private. And Kash Patel hasn’t turned the FBI into a museum of the deep state, but a shrine.
Furthermore, barring a dark horse candidate and or third party, who wins 2028 will likely come down to a question of which party is more unpopular and incompetent. The Democrats have a decent chance of winning and instantly turning the surveillance state against us. This isn’t paranoid ideation. It’s my lived historical experience. I remember when the Patriot Act was quietly rushed through under Bush after 9/11 only to be used against whites and Republicans under Obama. Britain already has an extensive network of cameras which their regime uses against whites, not migrants. Why wouldn’t a President Mamdani or Newsom copy the Yookay if given the opportunity on a silver platter?
To make matters worse, Flock Safety is rolling out audio surveillance in the form of gunshot detection. This sounds nice, except America doesn’t have a gun problem, it has a race problem. And their high-powered microphones will be able to detect “screaming” which they have rebranded as “distress.” It’s a short jump from listening for screaming to scanning public conversation for wrong think, and especially with advancements in AI.
The danger is exacerbated by how the police range from explicitly anti-white to implicitly anti-white. The police are explicitly anti-white in how they kneeled for George Floyd in 2020, are fully complicit in anarcho-tyranny, enforced nonsensical Covid lockdowns, and have a pattern of harassing perfectly peaceful and lawful pro-white activists. The ATF burned white children alive at Waco, but to this day turns a blind eye to blacks showing off their illegally modified Glock switches on social media. And people have discovered a pervasive trend of suspects who are clearly nonwhite being booked as white, which is done by local police (tracked on X here, here, and elsewhere). Which means your friendly neighborhood booking officer is manipulating crime stats for the uniparty. That many police departments have training programs and exchanges with Israel is even further troubling.
The police are also implicitly anti-white in how they will give white people frivolous parking and driving tickets because they know we are less likely to chimp out. Decades before influencers lamented that Europe had fallen due to no-go zones, America was riddled with no-go zones. Police will not patrol those areas, but they will still ambush motorists, many of whom are productive people going to work, for driving slightly faster than the speed limit. It’s basically just another redistributive scam to tax white people.
This flows into how in the best-case scenario, flock cameras are just a shinier version of red-light cameras to overpolice whites. Nobody asked for the red-light cameras, they actually caused more congestion and even accidents as drivers would erratically slow down while approaching intersection then accelerate through, and they were often installed due to corruption or at the very least shady campaign contributions, and were touted as generating revenue but usually lost money. As a result, many cities eventually removed them.
Whites, and especially young whites, are overpoliced while everyone else is underpoliced. Flock cameras threaten to take the longhousing of our people to a new extreme. But that best case scenario is a cowardly optimism. They are more likely the groundwork for a Zionist or Communist surveillance state.
